If you plan to move to the Netherlands you will probably already have already checked countless websites for information about what to do when. However…very few websites and relocation companies tell you the how….let alone offering to actually take you to the places you want or need to go.
My approach is different. My aim is to become your first friend in the Netherlands…even before you arrive! My services are divided in several categories so you can pick and choose what you need most. But more importantly, you can leave me to do the things that you want me to do for you, or we do it together.
The majority of the expats who come to the Netherlands will already have their visa and working permit arranged by their employers. Sometimes they already have a place to live as well. But then what?
Or you want to come to the Netherlands but you still need housing, visas for your family and a working permit. Where to start?
Or you need to arrange an internet connection, a phone or a car. But with whom?
In general expats don’t speak Dutch and are not familiar with Dutch law and regulations or administrative obligations. You are here to work and get your family settled in and the last thing you need is to be bogged down in complicated Dutch procedures.
I assume you have enough to think about…let me take care of the typically Dutch things for you
I am an independent advisor, specialized in making your life in the Netherlands easier. Of course I don’t do all of this on my own. I have built up an extensive network of people who all have their own specialties. From experts in the housing area to locksmiths who can access your house if you happen to lose the keys. From insurance advisors to specialized expat tax accountants. However, the most important thing for you is that you will always deal with only one person … me.
Dial my number and you get me on the phone…right away, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I am the friend, who simply does what you need…I help you!
But before you move to the services I can offer…please consider this. In most cases you will be signing a lot of contracts…especially in the beginning. Sometimes these contracts are translated but you want to make sure that the translation is correct and are the issues in the contract in line with what you agreed upon.
Furthermore, Dutch law sometimes requires an independent third party for a contract to be legal. In both these case you need a completely bilingual person whom you can trust.
I assist individuals, couples or families relocating to the Netherlands as well as expats already living in the Netherlands. However…you may have found my website because you own a company or work for a company who hires expat employees. Please contact me. Your new employees may well benefit from the kind of personal support than your HR department is just not able to provide. And in my experience it is easier for happy employees to concentrate on their work!
My aim is to try and make you feel ‘at home’ in The Netherlands as soon as possible. And to be there for you when you have a question and have no idea who to turn to. And rest assured, my life and experience with expats made me not only totally bilingual but also knowledgeable about any questions you may have.
